PROFESSIONAL LAND SURVEYOR
TerraCalc Land Surveying is a seeking dependable, diligent candidate to fill the position of Professional Land Surveyor.

Job Description: Successful candidate shall be registered as a PLS or LSIT with the ability to get registered. Candidate will round out the construction portion of the business with 3 other Professional Land Surveyors by coordinating with 8 field crews and performing construction survey calculations, creating ditigal terrain models for GPS guided equipment, processing control networks for both traditional & GPS observations & performing topographic/boundary & ALTA surveys. Registered candidates will have the opportunity to participate in all expenses paid, continuing education seminars such as: Trimble Dimensions, Con-Expo, N.A.L.S., P.L.S.O. & L.S.A.W. conferences, etc...

Skills/Qualifications: PLS/LSIT required. Strong communication skills, proficiency with construction plan reading & AutoCAD Civil 3D is a must. Other duties (willing to train): digital terrain modeling, earthwork volume calculations, field data management & drafting topographic & boundary surveys. Candidate should display advanced problem solving capabilities & the ability to think critically & be very detail orientated.
$125,000 - $175,000/Yr. D.O.E. & Qualifications
Survey Tech 3 (Office staff)
Seeking a motivated, reliable individual for the position of Survey Technician. This is an excellent career growth opportunity for individuals with 2+ years of responsible office experience and good written and oral communication skills.
This is a full-time permanent position that requires strong communication skills, working with field crews & project surveyors.

Duties include: performing construction calculations, earthwork calculations & digital terrain modeling.
Candidate must display strong technical skills working with AutoCad Civil3D & Microsoft Office suite. Detail orientated candidates, who are well organized, drama free & who have their LSIT, or who are qualified to sit for the exam are strongly encouraged to apply.

$80,000 - $125,000/Yr. D.O.E. & Qualifications
Survey Tech 1 (Field Crew)
Duties include: assisting the crew chief in construction staking, control networks, topographic & boundary surveys, vehicle & equipment maintenance. This is an entry level position that requires no knowledge of or past experience with surveying. However, experienced individuals are encouraged to apply.

Must have a good driving record & be in good physical condition (heavy lifting, long days outdoors & hiking steep hills may be required)
Pre-employment drug screening & ability to pass background check for entry to school & Port of Portland projects.
Local candidates receive preference.
